I have posted 214 blogs and it has been a marvelous experience. I have greatly appreciated all the comments and the encouraging words, as well as the constructive criticisms and grammar corrections! I have loved every minute of it and look forward to continuing on but summer holiday has come upon us and I am ready for a seven day break. We’ll see…maybe I won’t be able to stay away from it for so long! Chris’ first week of holidays was spent building special memories with Phoenie and I unexpectedly stayed with my sister in law for a few days to help her get through some tough days with her health issues. Chris has one more week of holidays and we are heading to Kansas City, Missouri for five days.
Chris is attending a Worship Conference and I am tagging along with my laptop, hoping to get some really concentrated prayer and writing time. Judging by the Missouri weather forecast, my hope is to hole up in an air conditioned hotel room, be picked up in an air conditioned car and be whisked away to an air conditioned restaurant for dinner. I don’t want to be outside in the hot, hot, hot weather! I have some big decisions to make about the redirection of the book that I am writing and I am very thankful that this intense writing time has fallen so conveniently on a week that I will have some good chunks of alone time for five days.
I will start up the blog again on Monday, July 25th or earlier if I can’t wait that long! I’m looking at my calendar and that is the same day that I get behind the wheel of a school bus and learn how to drive it. Beaverton, beware! I’m sure there will some good blog material from THAT experience!
Enjoy your week,
In Him, our Hope,
