We all get ’em.
Pajama wearing, slow moving, tear filling, nap taking, chocolate eating days.
Sometimes the emotions leak. Sometimes they flood and splash all over.
Life can really hurt.
But I am not alone. So today, I choose to stay with the feelings, climb into bed, nestle under some blankets, turn off the phone and talk to Jesus about it for a while.
I need to unplug.
This is how grief feels to me . . . and every loss requires grieving. It’s messy, painful and necessary.
