Chris and I are back from our one week vacation and after a good long sleep-in and a relaxing bike ride this morning, I headed to the grocery store to restock our completely empty refrigerator.
While I was walking down the aisle with all the frozen food, I watched a little girl nestle into her mom’s arms and she quietly said, “You make me warm.”
My heart was moved – that’s EXACTLY how I feel today.
Warmly held by Jesus. Covered, cradled and cooed over.
Full and satisfied.
Peaceful and delighted.
I’m easing back into life this week . . . and I’ve blogged long enough today.
Come away with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest. Mark 6.31
