I started this year with a 7:30 a.m. workout and guess what? No one else was in the gym at that time! 🙂
I was able to stay on the treadmill and the elliptical machine as long as I wanted AND I didn’t have to wait for any weight machines either. The music was blasting and my first 2015 workout was great. I’m guessing the gym will be filled tomorrow with many New Years resolution-committed, fitness-minded individuals — I don’t want to be a skeptic — but we’ll see how long their fitness regimes keep them in the gym.
Resolutions just don’t cut it.
To be honest, beginning the new year doesn’t change much for me but this morning, I was moved by this statement:
The words are simple but they speak to my heart and I can humbly think of a few places in my life where Jesus needs to become greater and I need to become less. (John 3.30)
So, 2015 begins . . .
