Happy Easter, everyone. It’s Phoenix here.
Before I even got out of the car, Nana said, “I want to show you something.” Nana got me a pair of mitts and as we walked down the road, ice was falling off the trees that we passed. When I saw the ice walls on the shores, I was surprised how high they were. I just had to climb to the top of one of the ice mountains.
I saw ice circles forming on the lake. I’ve never seen anything like it so I borrowed Nana’s camera and took this picture.
Nana really likes it.
When we got back home, I went for an Easter egg hunt. I thought I found all the eggs but Nana told she found some hiding in a plant today.
I’ve been eating chocolate steadily for two days now.
I decided to show Nana and Papak my new toy. I’m not very good at it yet but I’m catching onto the under-the-knee trick. And I’ve always been good at goofy faces.
Everyone enjoyed Easter dinner but I only ate some corn and that weird muffin thing. (Yorkshire pudding – added by Nana) I didn’t eat much dinner because my belly was full of sugar . . . but I did have room for chocolate cake. Of course, I did.
It was wonderful to spend some time with Nana and Papak. I haven’t seen them for a while and we decided it was too long. I think I need to go to their place more often. Nana hugged me more than normal. It sure was awesome to have a group hug with them – the three of us have been doing that since I was born. The screams were out of agony because Papak was squeezing too tightly and cracking my rib cage.
Here’s a picture of me and Nana. She hugged me a lot today.
I hope you all had a good Easter. I’m glad we can celebrate Jesus.
