This morning, as I was packing my bags and preparing to head out for my second one-week residency in Spiritual Direction certification, I came across this awesome quote.
It wasn’t until I slowed the car and rolled down the windows that I realized I spent most of my days driving “through” life, without driving “in” life. Craig D. Lounsbrough
Does that ring true in your life?
I am becoming increasingly aware of the many times I have motored my way through life – some people call it resilience – and with great determination and grit, I have arrived at my destination . . . but at what expense?
I don’t want to slow down because I’m getting older – I want to slow down because I want to experience more.
I’m heading to Ohio this weekend and I’ll be taking a week off blogging so when I’m there, I’m “all there.”
I’ll be back on December 9th. Enjoy your week!
