. . . not a person . . . a food.
A REALLY delicious food.
A snack that’s so good that it’s replaced my consumption of Cadbury Mini Eggs. And that’s a HUGE feat!
(And no…I don’t have shares in this company. No financial gain from this advertisement) 🙂
If you’re a Costco member, it’s your special day! If you’re willing to face the long lines and busy aisles (and these chocolate-coconut-chips-sunflower-pumpkin-and-chia-seeds nuggets of gold are well worth the time and gas to get there!), you could zip over there right now and pick up this yumminess. If not, you might need to intentionally (and manipulatively) make some Costco member new friends in your neighbourhood this weekend.
I will forever be indebted to my neighbour who put a bowl of these chocolate clusters in front of me. Being a polite guest, I partook in what was being offered. I figured I would just take “a few” to nibble on with my tea. Well . . . forget the tea – I finished off the bowl before the tea was even served.
So, here lies the problem.
This stuff is good. Really good. The exquisite mix of organic chocolate and coconut with the crunchiness of the seeds makes for a snack that’s close to perfection – and you can even brag about the nutritional value! BUT if you eat too many, they lose their appeal. I mean, they start tasting like everyday chocolate. There’s a very fine line that you mustn’t cross. So, the challenge lies in the ability to exercise self discipline and stop eating this stuff at precisely the same time that you want more.
This is a challenge. I’m warning you.
I believe it was Leo DiCaprio who said, “You will either experience the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The choice is yours.”
I really wonder if he was talking about these chocolate nuggets.
