It’s not the best picture.
But I’m very thankful Chris caught this moment on camera because as soon as I saw it, I knew so deep in my soul that, “this is my world” – spending time with a friend, Bible, chai, homemade slippers, blankets, chairs and the sound of water.
This is me.
This is home.
This is where I want to be for the rest of my life.
Honestly? There is no other space and time I’d rather invest in – listening to womens’ stories, positioning them to experience Jesus – His cradling love, His deep healing of wounds, His overflowing joy, His settling peace and His arms-stretched-out freedom – without pretense and without resistance.
This is what I was made for. This is where I get to be exactly who I am.
Sixty years of life has prepared me for these precious moments of connection and love.
And I rejoice in the moment.
I‘m glad I am alive, to see and feel the full deliciousness of this day. William Allington
…the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col. 1.27b
