I really like this quote.
As this year comes to an end, once again, I become very mindful of the fact that time just keeps ticking on. Nothing and no one can stop it. Time is in the hands of God – the Timemaker Himself.
…and Someone is in control of this big world. The older I get, the more I sit comfortably with the truth that it’s definitely not me – and the more thankful I am that I have surrendered that responsibility. 🙂
Aging does something deep within, doesn’t it? Thankfully, aging has quieted my soul. I know to whom I belong and I am becoming more and more secure in my identity as a child of God. These words have taken a long time to penetrate and heal my heart but I am on the journey and I’m not looking back. 2018 is around the corner and my heart bursts with gratitude, contentment and excitement.
What about you? How do you feel about 2018 unfolding? Are you open to the mysteries of God? Can you forgive those who have hurt or misunderstood you? Are you holding onto anger or hopelessness? Do you anticipate good things from a good God? Can you settle into this place of surrender and trust Him with your very life?
He is the clockmaker of the universe and the loving Creator of your soul.
May 2018 be a year of grace and peace . . . and more grace and peace . . . and more grace and peace. Right up to the brim. May your cup be overflowing.
Bring it on.
