This wasn’t just a reminder to charge my laptop.
This bold announcement made me take a big gulp as I thought to myself, ” 59! WHOA!”
Fifty-nine years ago, I popped out (apparently, an easy delivery) and life’s crazy journey has been unfolding ever since.
I’m so thankful for where God has brought me — I can’t imagine life without Him.
This weekend, I am speaking at two women’s retreats. Different groups at the same location! The preparation time has been such a blessing. I’ve been thinking about this journey that I’m on . . .
. . . and I am so thankful that God has made me a resilient person. C.S. Lewis says, “It’s not the load that gets you down. It’s the way you carry it.” Oh, how I agree with his wise words. So many times in these 59 years, when I have stumbled, God has made it part of the dance . . .
. . . and my mess has indeed become my message.
Heading out to enjoy a long walk in the woods now. It’s just that kind of day.
Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift. 2 Corinthians 9.15
